CISM RESPONSE TEAM

Introduction to our services How to utilize the team for your department or your staff

Police officers in general are not comfortable and many times will not open up to “outsiders”. The trust the

y have in fellow officers who have walked in their shoes is an invaluable asset to our CISM team, and thus to your department.team’s training and administrative costs have been funded and supported by the National, State and our local FOP lodges. We are all about “cops helping cops”. Our services are totally confidential and free of charge.

Law enforcement organizations experience a great deal of stress to their personnel in the general course of their duties. That stress is magnified many times over when they are involved in a critical incident such as:

Mass casualty incidents.

?

Death of or violence to a child.

?

Loss of life following extraordinary and prolonged efforts to save a citizen or fellow first responder.

?

Officer Involved in a shooting or fatal vehicle accident.

?

Incidents that attract extremely unusual or critical news media coverage. Incidents charged with profound emotion.organized group or one on one debriefings. All of our services are conducted in the same professional and confidential manner standard throughout the nation. All or our team members have received Certificates of Training from the nationally recognized International Critical Incident Stress Foundation. We are also available for pre event training for your officers and staff.

Fraternal Order of Police ~

On behalf of the Washington State Fraternal Order of Police, the FOP Centerville Lodge # 26 Critical Incident Stress Management Team would like to introduce ourselves and invite you to use our services. Our mission is to provide an experienced and trained CISM team to law enforcement agencies and their staff before during and after a critical incident has impacted your department. Our team has provided these services since 2005.

Structured and administrated with the same standards as critical incident teams across the nation. Our team is not only trained, experienced and documented in CISM, we are able to build trust and open lines of communications with your officers and staff efficiently because of the unique law enforcement background of each team member. Our CISM team is made up of full time working police officers, retired police officers, a former Police Chief, and two Washington state licensed mental health professionals. * ( both of which have been married to police officers for over 30 years)
