On July 24, WAFOP sent a letter to King County Prosecuting Attorney Dan Satterberg to discuss concerns regarding a proposal by the Equity and Social Justice Workgroup that we felt was dangerous to public safety and the image of peace officers in the King County Area and beyond.

Washington State FOP Memorial Foundation Announces Scholarship Recipients

The Washington State Fraternal Order of Police (FOP) is pleased to announce the 2020 recipients of its annual academic scholarship awards.
Since 2013 the Washington State FOP Memorial Foundation has invested over $35,000 into WAFOP members and their families as they pursued their academic goals. In 2020 we are adding an additional 10 recipients to the list and increasing our lifetime total to $45,000.
