Please Help Support The Hart Family
One of our own, and a member of the Tri-City community, has suffered the tragic loss of her mother and sister. Payten Hart is a Detective with the Benton County Sheriff's Office where she has worked for the past 4 years. Below is a message from Payten and her family. The Washington State Fraternal Order of Police is asking for any help you can provide as the Harts prepare to say goodbye to their wife/mother and daughter/sister.
On Sunday, October 15th, 2023 Angel and Aspen Hart were leaving a day filled with joy spent at the pumpkin patch with family when they tragically passed away in a car accident. There are some who bring a light so great to the world, that even after they have gone— their light remains. Aspen and Angel were this light and remain the light for so many in our community.
Aspen Hart— 18 years old had a wild spirit, soft heart, and sweet soul. She has touched the lives of every individual she has encountered through her uplifting, radiant, and comforting demeanor. Aspen was a friend to all, and someone who loved fiercely. Aspen is a 2023 graduate of Kennewick High School and received her Associate's Degree from Columbia Basin College. This fall she enrolled at Heritage University to work towards her goal of obtaining a degree in Elementary Education with hopes of one day reaching her childhood dream of becoming a teacher. Aspen grew up dancing and cheering competitively in the Tri-Cities and continued to share her passion for dance with others upon graduating through coaching at Dance Image West. Every free moment Aspen had was spent with family and friends, and those she loved.
Angel Hart— 50 years old had a radiant and beautiful soul. Angel embodied strength and resilience in every trial life threw at her including beating cancer. She was tenacious, bold, and ambitious. Angel’s fun and altruistic outlook on life attracted all those who surrounded her. Angel Hart opened her own Photography Business in 2018– With Hart Photography. She captured beautiful memories through her exquisite photos. She always had an eye for seeing the beauty and the good in everything and everyone. Angel dueled as a best friend and mother to her two incredible daughters, Payten and Aspen, and a loving wife to her husband Casey. It was her greatest joy in life to be a wife and a mother. She was a rock to not only her family but all her friends as well.
We have had many people reaching out, and seeking ways to support the Harts and their family through these heartbreaking times. The WAFOP has set up this account on behalf of the Hart Family, and funds will go towards funeral arrangements and settlements.
In loving memory of Angel & Aspen
Their light will forever shine bright.
